MISISQ

Between 20 to 21 July 2015, the Exlibris Company in collaboration with national coordinator of  MISISQ project, Liubovi Karnaeva, organized a training session for the implementation and administration  of specialized library software ALEPH in academic libraries of Moldova. The purpose of the training: to cultivate skills and knowledge concerning the Administration Module. The activity was conducted within the Tempus Project - Modern Information Services for Improvement Study Quality Managers and system librarians have been involved in the training. For introductory session, those attending the training became familiar with basic terms in Aleph, naming and numbering conventions, connection, modules and system functions, Oracle and Aleph tables, subsidiaries and allowances, directory tree, subdirectories, utilities, server management, monitoring services and task manager.

System librarians were trained about ALEPHADM Module, handling server tables, tables display, history and log tables, handling customer tables, handling ini files, linguistic manipulation.
