The representatives of academic libraries from Republic of Moldova, members of the project Modern Information Services for Improvement Study Quality (MISISQ), attended the Project Partners Representatives Meeting, held at the Library of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, Kaunas, Lithuania on March12-13, 2014.
During the meeting Mrs. Meile Kretaviciene, Project Coordinator, has stipulated the immediate and future needs of partners of the Project Modern Information Services for Quality Improvement Study (MISISQ), the rules and principles related to its management.
Daiva Jurksaitiene, Chief of Informatization Department, presented a summary of the most successful and popular specialized library software used and actively promoted at European level.
Liubovi Karnaeva, Director of Scientific Medical Library, State University of Medicine and Pharmacy "N. Testemitanu", the project Coordinator for Moldova, has presented the most relevant information on the activity of libraries participating in the project from Moldova that will benefit from the opportunities offered by the project.
Silvia Ciubrei, deputy Director of Scientific Medical Library, State University of Medicine and Pharmacy “N. Testemitanu” mentioned again the needs and requirements of academic libraries from Moldova concerning a specialized library software.
In order to ensure a successful running of the Project, several working groups, that includes also specialists from Moldova, has beet created: management, choosing and implementing a software, creation of institutional repositories, training of informationa literacy and Project disemination.
