Presentation of organisation

The Ministry of Education is the specialised authority of the central public administration responsible for the development and promotion of the state policy in education and science, professional formation, protection of children and youth, and constantly adjust it to the national and international trends of socio-economic development, ensuring that all citizens of Moldova have access to education and research throughout their lives. 

The role of the organisation in the project

MEM will:

- be involved in the evaluation of the Information Literacy Course curriculum for HEI;

- participate at all the workshops, seminars and conferences of the project;

- support the HEI in the process of development of the information space for improvement of study quality in HEI;

- will provide decision support in information assurance of education and research processes in HEI;

- be involved in the final conference;

- elaborate an official document which highlights the importance, the role of the Institutional Repositories in the education and research processes.
