MISISQ

Field monitoring 

        A meeting to monitor the project Modern Information Service for Improvement Study Quality (MISISQ) was held on August 28, 2014 at the Scientific Medical Library. The meeting was attended by: Mr. Valentin Arion, coordinator of the National Office TEMPUS, Moldova; Mrs. Tatiana Lucinschi, representative of Rectors Counsil of Republic of Moldova; Mr. Oleg Lozan, vice rector for implementation of information technology and strategic development of SUMPh; the project partners.

      The meeting’s purpose was to analyze the implementation of the Project till now, to assess the performed progresses, the obtained results and the quality of the objectives’ achievements. Mr. V. Arion talked about the necessity and the importance of the Project monitoring by continuing evaluation of the results, by identifying problems and difficulties that may arise, by verifying the compliance of reference terms in order to successfully achieve the planned objectives. At the same time, he referred to the importance of this Project for the Republic of Moldova, for the involved institutions, especially for the strengthening and modernization of higher education.
     After a short presentation of the project, Mrs Ecaterina Zasmenco, director of Central Univeristy Library, MSU, a member of MISISQ Project Coordinating Counsil and Mrs. Silvia Ciubrei, vice director of SML, a member of the working group Implementation of specialized software library in university libraries in RM, have reported about the actual situation, the obtained achievements, opportunities and chalanges within the Project. The representatives of the partners-libraries have shared their conclusions and oppinions about the obtained achievement with the joint effort of work teams.
     At the end of the monitoring meeting a progress in achieving the stated objectives was found. Mr. V. Arion mentioned about the effective collaboration and constructive dialogue between members of the MISISQ project working teams, also coming up with objections and recommendations for performing the future tasks.
